Flyball Have-a-Go Day with Aurora Flyball

Saturday 25th July at Derby House Dogs

Aurora Flyball are joining us on site for a Flyball Have-a-Go Day before they begin their training course at our venue in August.

This is a chance to watch Flyball in action, meet the Aurora team, and book your dog in for a short coached introduction to the sport.

Have-a-Go Slots

• 9 Slots available
• £5 per slor
• 1 dog per slot
• Dogs will work alone in an enclosed lane

The session will include a short coached first introduction, a chance to try some introductory Flyball work, and advice on the best next step for your dog.

Is it suitable for my dog?

• These sessions are suitable for beginners.
• Your dog does not need previous Flyball experience.
• Your dog does not need lots of training already.
• Dogs will be worked one at a time, but there will be other dogs and people on site.
• Flyball is a physical, high-energy sport, so dogs should be fit, healthy, and free from injury.

What happens next?

After the Have-a-Go Day, Aurora and Derby House Dogs will help guide dogs towards the best next step.

For some dogs, this may be the August Flyball course.

For others, we may suggest some foundation work first.

Have-a-go attendees will get first access to the August course details.
