Welcome to Derby House Dogs. We’re based at Derby House, Wrightington, WN6 9RE, with multiple training spaces, an on-site shop, and clear arrival routes to help every dog and owner feel settled.

We are located on the Derby House shopping centre site. There is signage on site to help direct you.
Please park in the overflow car park shown on the map.
When you arrive
Please arrive 5 minutes before your session start. You are welcome to pop into the Derby House Dogs shop when you arrive. Your trainer may also meet you at the site entrance.
Dogs must stay on lead at all times outside their allocated training space.
If your dog is nervous, reactive, or needs extra space, please come and find us before entering the venue. We’ll help you get settled safely.
Site rules
To keep the venue safe and calm for everyone:
- No slip leads, flexi leads, or any other equipment designed to tighten
- No dog meet-and-greets unless handlers have given explicit permission
- Keep dogs on lead outside training spaces
- Clean up after your dog
- Use the bins provided
- Children are welcome but must stay with an adult
Facilities
Our shop is open during sessions. Core shop hours are: 10:00 – 17:00
Water is available on site.
Toilets are available inside The Paddock restaurant when it is open.
The venue is field-based. In summer it is usually suitable for prams and wheelchairs, but in wetter months the ground can become muddy. Please wear suitable footwear.
Using the training spaces

Each training area is enclosed and gated.
Please move only between:
- the entrance
- your allocated training space
- the exit
unless your trainer asks you to do otherwise.
This helps us keep the site calm, organised and safe across multiple sessions.
